Journey

Twenty-seven year old Quinn McAdams thought her life was going perfect. She has a wonderful fiance, a rewarding job as a teacher and has big plans of exploring the world. Unfortunately, she receives a phone call from her mother informing her that, her father has passed away suddenly due to a heart attack. Quinn leaves her big city life and travels 546 miles to her small town Auburn, Alabama to comfort her grieving mother and to see her father for the last time. Sadly, Quinn gets in a terrible car accident which leaves her forgetting everything before the accident. She embarks on a journey of finding who she is and what she was before. Will the memory of her father and her life before ever come back to her or is it lost forever?

  1. If this was a movie, It would probably be a guilty pleasure chick flick of mine.

    Very interesting story. I liked it, but you should have elaborated a little bit more.

    Also, I liked how the ordinary world/Special worlds were states of mind other than physical places.

    Quinn . . . what a lovely and unique name for a female protagonist! I know it's trivial, but well done!
    like Andy, I believe it was a bit short. But then again, short 'blurbs' often encourage your reader to want more. In this case, I think keeping it quick was to your advantage.

  3. i agree with andy. it would be a chick flick. expect i wouldn't call it a guilty one. Reese witherspoon could play the lead. or kate hudson. i can see it now.

    I like the story of how if we could forget everything, how would we do it over again? i would love to read this story to see who she becomes.

    i love the call to the adventure. its really unique and not one everyone else has. good job!
